    Hi everyone,

    I am actually the biggest fan of DTEK50, because I already bought 2 of them

    The reason why I bought the IInd one is that I simply broke the screen of the first one and got answer from BB shop that it's too early after launch of this device and they don't have replacement available.

    But then I found replacement screen part for Alcatel Idol4 here

    What is your opinion? Should I buy it and ask local mobile repair shop to replace it?

    I got reply from Chinese seller that Idol4 and BB DTEK50 are different phones but I am almost sure he doesn't know what he's talking about...

    I guess the warranty doesn't go far enough to cover screens except if you bought the extended warranty from Blackberry...ie bought the phone from Shop Blackberry?. Too bad. I guess you've got nothing to lose now, may as well try the repair. 👍

    Why does BB not return my questions regarding the display.
    Is it an Alcatel Idol 4 Idol 4 display functional? I believe there is a scratch coating that is additional?
