Hmm, BlackBerry are trying to grab the 'youth' market...

I just pre ordered the dtek50, so I still haven't with me yet. On BB10 we have the BB Assistant.. does the dtek50 still have it? or its Google Now the standard choice?
-
My DTEK50 is back in it's box already. I can not find a way to transfer contacts etc from BB10 to DTEK50. If someone can actually do this and post a step by step that would be great!!
GOT IT!
Follow the instructions here: http://www.androidcentral.com/how-mo...lackberry-priv
You want the Blackberry Content Transfer app and NOT the Device Switch app.
You will need to install exfat drivers for your SD card on the DTEK if you use that method. If you put the SD card in and start your DTEK it will prompt you to do it and give you the link.

Hubby and I figured it out by hours of trial and error, but in the end we had to only tick off a couple of things to transfer at a time as if we ticked all items it kept saying we didn't have space. We did it over a couple of hours. Whew! lol

Hi, Does anyone know if Hub & other BB features are going to be in all android phones then in what way Dtek50 will be unique from other android phones.
-
hi, yes, I have BlackBerry software running on my Lenovo android phone but software will expire after 1 month and users will saw ads or monthly payment will be available to avoid it.

With the Content Transfer software, an easy way is connecting your BB10 and DTEK to a same WiFi network, then choose other method to transfer through WiFi, instead of Google Drive.

Any videos on moving apps etc to the sd card. It's easy for someone to say download a file manager but how do you move items using it.

If you haven't tried yet, go to settings - apps (choose an app) - storage, then check if there's an option to move to your SD. I think not all apps can be moved, if I'm not mistaken

When I'm on wifi, do I still need to disable mobile data, or does wifi automatically "trump" mobile data usage? Or should I just do it to be extra sure?
-
Thanks for that,i have tried as you have said and yes the apps i have tried cannot be moved

I wanted to Add to my BlackBerry army of phones and bought a Dtek 50 yesterday and so far I'm liking it. The key2 is very similar to the Dtek 50. I like a physical keyboard but BlackBerry made the best digital keyword hands down which makes the switch more bariable. I also like the colours on the screen of the Dtek. I have a question about the Dtek, can you split screen or was that not an option on Android when this phone came out?? if you can kindly explain how to do this. I am hitting and holding the square button but nothing happens other then takes me to
the screen with all the windows open. Thanks in advance
