You couldn't tell from being on Crackberry's forum, but it looks like initial reviews have been pretty positive:

"That's quite the rap sheet for a sub-$300/300 smartphone, and finally puts an end to BlackBerry's recent track record of offering outdated, underpowered specs at an inflated price (we're looking at you, Z10, Z30 and Passport)."

"The BlackBerry DTEK50 is a surprisingly promising smartphone, with a more than reasonable price tag and a spec sheet to be proud of.

It's not going to wow you with its design, or blow you away with flagship features, but what you do get is a phone which fully encrypts all your data, makes it easy for you to monitor your privacy, and ensures everything is secure."

"We're impressed the with experience that the BlackBerry DTEK50 offers out the box and the 275 price tag should make it a more approachable offering for consumers (and businesses) on the fence about the brand until now. "

Decent, honest reviews. Nice to see it's getting a fair shake so far based on it not being a high end premium device (in terms of specs).

    Another hands on review:
"BlackBerry might be onto something with the mid-range DTEK50, especially when it comes to targeting the enterprise market, it’s just a shame it took the company so long to finally release a smartphone like this."
