    Am I the only one who thinks these are ugly? Much preferred the groovy backdrops that came with bb10.

    Nope. I just use photos from NASA or something. Same as I did on Passport.

    Probably a stupid question but can't one use a picture of their kids or wife for example? I only ask since I'm not familiar with android and a couple of friends I've seen with samsungs seem to just have the factory home screen on?

    You can use whatever picture you want for your wallpaper but all phones come with a few "standard" wallpapers in their gallery.

    I don't normally like the materialistic look on my phone but a couple of these, paired with a set of icons called Moonrise actually look pretty cool, and the icon pack also has a few of the BlackBerry apps included.

    You most certainly can customize your wallpaper:

    Display
    Change your wallpaper
    Add your favorite photo to the home screen of your device.
    1. In the Photos app, tap a picture.
    2. Tap > Use as. If necessary, tap More.
    3. Tap Wallpaper.
    4. Slide your fngers apart or together to zoom in or zoom out.
    5. Tap Set wallpaper.
    Tip: To change your wallpaper, touch and hold a blank area on a home screen. Tap Wallpapers. Tap a wallpaper or a Live
    Wallpaper. To use a picture as your wallpaper, tap Select image and tap a picture.Source: See Page 74 of the DTEK50 User's Manual
