    Two tips.
    It's about 375mb. Use WiFi.
    Can take about 30 minutes. Depends on number of apps you have. Plug into charger, start update, go eat dinner.

    This really blows chunks! I didn't get in on the beta program when it started because I didn't have a PRIV and now that I have a Dtek50 straight from BlackBerry and changed my phone info for my account in the beta program I'm not getting OS updates.. Oh if your wondering yes I'm bitter.

    Blackberry? Yes we still do phones.

    Just a quick question from a PRIV only user, on the blog it is stated that this is the beta for the october update. On PRIV this is out non-beta for bbshop since Oct 3rd. Wasn't the DTEK50 branded as "most secur e..." (I know it's just marketing compared to PRIV) so why the non-beta delay of a month to the nexus/priv? Or is it a out-of-band october update and DTEK already got October 5th SecPatchLevel?

    BlackBerry clarified to say that ALL BlackBerry Android devices are the most secure.

    BlackBerry has been bang on with both Priv and DTEK50 security patches, except for October for DTEK50. For some reason it will be a couple of weeks late. I suspect that the 377MB update was more than just security and probably took a bit more work.

    It seems there is another problem with delayed patches on 3rd party retailer versions, which BlackBerry says to be an "communication" problem between EU dealers and BB, but promised to be dealt with:
