    I am considering the Dtek50 as my next phone. However, my children all have android devices and they are loaded with so much bloatware it is ridiculous, even the Galaxy S6.

    How much bloatware is the Dtek50 loaded with?

    From what I've read the DTEK50 is pretty much stock Android except for the Blackberry apps and launcher. You can completely uninstall those if you wish. However, if you purchase the phone from a carrier there will likely be some carrier bloatware that is more difficult to get rid of.

    Press and hold icon and drag to the top where it says disable. Should be like the Priv. Haven't opened my Dtek yet.

    Go to apps in setting and the ones you dont want/use click disable

    It has apps you might not have used for. As far as carrier bloatware no. You can easily disable apps of no use via settings - apps.
