I find it disappointing in the Argon, I was going to wait until Oct. to get the Argon. I hope it is not just a renamed of the Idol 4 pro if it is not going to get it.

I mentioned in a further post Argon was said to be Idol Pro, I will edit my first post. Part of the point of this was to show specs of Idol 4S that is actually available and it's price point which might shed light on Neon/Argon pricing. Also if the 4S is ready to go the 4/Neon shouldn't be far behind.

VR is noticeably better on a 2K screen since your eyeballs are a few inches away.

For regular use a good 1080P screen is marginally worse than 2K, unless you put them side by side, at the expense of battery life.

Agreed and I think since QHD is available, and on many devices out this year, having it on the Argon would possibly mean the device would stay relevant for longer. I wouldn't expect it on the Neon but I would on the Argon.

Something else that's odd, on Android Central there is only 1 thread regarding Idol 4S releasing for pre order today and it has 0 replies.....seems like no one cares over there not sure why it's good specs for the price.
