Default Why is my phone so slow?

I turn off all the apps (facebook, games, etc) when im not using it. But what are some tricks i can use to keep it speedy? It freezes all the time, and its getting really frustrating.

Delete applications that u don't use, set the application refresh to 1 hour or more. Do battery pull regularly like once a week.
I hope these will help...

Make sure you update from the stock OS. The 7.1 leak has been phenomenal for me.

My new 9360 seems to be very slow as well.

I've loaded up the .190 OS 7.1 leak, boot time seems like forever, and the general performance seems ok.

The problem seems to come with BB App world, it seems to take a very long time to load apps, and often comes up with the clock whilst doing this.

I don't know if its because I am used the 9900, (which I had to sell).

Is this fairly normal behaviour of the 9360?

Several days ago I turn off / unticked 'enable compression'.

My 9900 has transformed.

I recently came across this thread below.

I solved my "Spinning Clock"/Lagging/Battery Drain problem...

There are some people who don't believe in doing so however all I can say is my bb is so much faster, I hardly see the spinning clock any more.
