Guys I use a 9360 curve. Can anyone explain what unlocking phone means, may be it was already done for us by our carrier such that I didn't do it. I saw it on youtube, the process which involves which involves getting IMEI digit and unlockthatphone.com. Please sum1 explain to me what it is, why it may be neccessary for me to do it. Thank you, my carrier is mtn, SA.

Unlocking is done so you can use the phone on other carriers. It's not necessary for you to do if everything is fine with your device now.

Thank you so much, but I would definately like to use it on other carriers in the future, how am I going to do it because from unlockthatphone.com, there is no MTN (my carrier from South Africa) from the list I am supposed to pick my carrier to do the process. Thanks hey
