Default Trackepad unresponsive when viewing pictures

Guys I have 9360 curve. Its problem is that sometimes I can't scroll to view pictures because the trackpad will be unresponsive. Opening the picture library and viewing pictures as thumbanails, scrolling is not a problem But when I now select individual pictures, the trackpad becomes unresponsive and scrolling is not poissible. Anybody who knows what's causing and the solution. Thanks

1st question which version OS are you running i can tell you from experience the original version was a mess all kinds of problems from track pad not scrolling to loss of letters on the menu bar to battery problems and so on...
I`m sure if you upgrade you will see improvement

Thanks dear, installed OS 7.1 a week ago. But may be if there can be a way to check if there are still some components of the original version.

Options>Device>Software Updates, then it shows me "current version is OS 7.1.0 Bundle 1133, Your blackberry is up to date." This is the way I did my previous upgrade. What must I do since it says its upto date. Really worried. Thanks for your help guys

Doing an upgrade from the phone is more likely to cause problems than solve them. I'd download the Os and update manually from using your pc.
