Default Is there anything fun to do on this phone?

I traded my Galaxy S2 for this phone which was a big mistake, and it can't really do much. All I do is BBM people, and go on FaceBook. I think the thing that appealed to me the most was it's qwerty keyboard, I love to text (I'm a teenager...). Every other minute i'm updating my FaceBook status or texting in What's App/BBM. I think BBM, and the full keyboard are it's selling points, other than that this device is pretty basic. I can't get a decent Wi-Fi signal in my house, when I'm in the next room I get like one bar of Wi-Fi signal or whatever it's called. Anyway, i'm getting off topic.. I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to make this device more fun, I feel pretty cool when I'm in public typing a message on a BlackBerry, but It's pretty boring.. What else is there to do on this thing?!

no offence intended but you could sell it and get a galaxy s2 again because you seem to need more meaningless distraction in your life.

One thing I do with my phone, being a communication device... I call people and actually do stuff that is fun instead of worrying about how cool I look typing a message on the phone.

in all seriousness it does lack apps but what it lacks it makes up in the communication side of things. The curve isn't at the high-end of a blackberry device. Try testing another wifi connection because I can't speak for the curve as my wifi connection works fine with my blackberry.

You sold a SGS2 to get this , so I assume that you can get a higher end blackberry , go get the Torch 9810 , it has a 3.2" touch screen , which you can use for games , and a full QWERTY keyboard for texting .
And one qwestion that I have is : how do you find time to play games on any thing , I'm 17 and I barley have time to do BBM on my device !

Why would you trade your S2 for this? $S2 > $Curve. You could have easily gotten a 9900, 9860, or 9810.

I mean you should have realised that the current blackberry lineup are mainly communication devices. They don't have as many apps as android or ios. Even games are pretty limited. If you think you have made a big mistake as you have said in your post, trade it in for the Motorola Droid 4? Full qwerty keyboard for your msging needs and full screen for the apps and games you want.

Yeah, you really shouldn't have traded the S2 in for a Curve. Maybe in the Bold line, definitely not a Curve.

It appears that what you are looking for in a phone is one that has lots of games and all. Go i4 or the i4s I guess.

I think the BB's main selling point and market is for the business class. But, you are right on the keyboard, nothing beats the tactile response of it compared to those digital ones in other units.

Good luck.

The same selling point for blackberry is the easy communication it delivers. From BBM to social to email all in one. The data is compressed and it is all pushed.
If your looking for a toy, consider an android or iPhone because Blackberrys are Tools
