Why is the bundle (2220) so low ??

That from ROGERS and FIDO is higher (2257) but 7.1.0,746

thats why i am not going to update it to this one. i will stick with the fido one.

unless some one else reports some different findings on this one.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to report that I've installed this firmware (the 2nd one in the topic) on my 9360 and it works great. By great I mean the baterry life - it has gone over the roof for me, compared to 746(that fw was a battery killer for me). Didn't see any other improvements.

i agree with you alex, i was not going to install this one but still last night i couldent resist and went ahead with the installation, in my personal experience the battery seems to be holding a longer charge. than in .746

Yeap. Standby is a lot better. I use my blackberry very rarely, but still it never worked more than 24h for me. And now 36h have passed and I still have 55%. Hope it works the same for everyone!

Performance is stellar (I previously used 7.0.0.530, the firmware from 9360AllLang_PBr7.0.0_rel2259_PL8.0.0.499_A7.0.0.53 0_Orange_Austria.exe)
... no idea about the battery, I'll update this post when I know more about that.

I still can't get proper battery life from my curve 9360 even after several OS upgrade and battery change. I really don't know what to do again. I have tried several suggestions, but non has worked favourably. Pls what happened to the blackberry device analyser. Its not on this OS. I tried the code. Alt + BBDA...no success.

I gather that this release has improved the battery life significantly. However, before upgrading would like to see a few more posts / feedback.

Other than that, any additional features are being embedded in this release??

i havent noticed any new additional feature could be the reason that i am using a skinned os.

you've got to delete vendor.xml files

Quick Tip: Updating your BlackBerry to a different carrier's OS? Make sure you delete BOTH vendor files | CrackBerry.com

Oh what a disappointment: yes, it's a lot faster.
But there are issues as well... the most grave one being the battery - it doesn't last as long as 7.0.0.530 by far.
Beyond that, getting a GPS fix with either Foursquare or Endomondo takes ages, the browser may be faster sometimes but mostly crashes a lot more often than it used to.
    ... I'm going back to 7.0.0.530.

upgraded to this version last evening, batt life is pathetic, just lasted me 2 hours (music on/BBM/Whatsapp usage, GPS switched off as well)..not sure if its a device prob, switching back to the previous version (it gave me 4 hrs of the above said usage)..
Also i noticed that, though the batt level is say 33%, all of a sudden, i get batt is too low to use radio message and then the network goes off,,and then in few secs it is restored..strange..this never happend with the prev version...Guys, have u faced similar issues, do let me know if this could be hardware/software related.
    thanks
