I often wondered if because the phone was unbranded if that had anything to do with it. As far as i know you can't change or delete the branding on the phone too easily. I thought perhaps that during the process they may have screwed up the firmware.

However, since it later happened on a Verizon branded, unlocked 9530 Storm, I figured it to just be faulty hardware. I was never able to find out exactly what.

Mine is from Carphone Warehouse, also running 7.1 (leak) and unbranded, but this only happened to me ONCE which was yesterday in the 2nd month of buying it. It happened as soon as i plugged in my charger

Random reboots and shutdowns are often a software issue I think... I completly wiped my Bold 9900 and installed the latest build and it hasn't been doing it ever since

mu 9360 keeps rebooting,its 2months old and i had to flash it twice already and it did the same thing a week later
