Hi everyone,

This problem started a couple days ago (seemingly out of the blue), but when someone calls me or I call out, I can only talk after enabling speakerphone. Listening to the caller is okay in any mode.. there is no icon on the home screen (or in the calls) to suggest the phone is in headset mode/etc. Phone is less than 2 months old, brand new - limited use all round.

I've done a couple battery pulls, no change.
I've put headphones in/out of the jack a few hundred times, no change.. including some 'slow rotations' as noted in threads about older bb models.
I've checked all my applicable settings.. everything looks normal.

There have been no drops, water issues, etc.. no 'known' software updates/etc, problem just seems to have came out of nowhere.

If anyone has any insight, before I return this piece of s--- to the telecomm people at work for them to sort out, I'd welcome the suggestions.

Sounds like the headset speaker went on you, probably a defect. Call your carrier get the device replaced.
