Official and leaked are the same.. Official is just when the carrier wants to use it and is deemed "good enough"
When the leaked version is official, they are the same. nothing new or old. exact same

Has it ever happened that a leaked os never got official or adopted by a carrier? My dad just got his first bb and he won't know how to deal with it if a problem arises which is why I got this latest official build.. keeps him a happy customer and keeps me hassle free. I went safe on this one but it would be nice to know if a leaked has never gone official. Thanks.

Depends on the Carrier. Some adopt it while some wait for the next version. Some leaked version dont because the next version is right around the corner. I remember having 2 leaks in 2 days and sometimes a week apart.

I downloaded the file properly, installation goes normal, but the pages were it says to us what to select and what not to, over there it is showing only the apps installed in my bb, no os7.1
Any help please, i have deleted vendor.xml file.

It's the best software to date , no bugs , no crashes , and the longest barttery life on the 9360 yet .
Download it , it will not make any difference from the offical , I already loaded 2 officials and 2 leaked softwares .
