Right, been using the 9360 for about 2 weeks now, and (as far as my needs go) I'm pleased with my purchase. If the installation of a new OS goes wrong, it voids my warranty.

Pre-installed OS is .353. I get 6-7 hours of heavy usage (twitter through twitter app, facebook through Opera Mini and bbm simultaneously {not quite if you're pedantic...}). Phone is on 2g, location services off, brightness 10, wi-fi off, bluetooth off. Decentish battery life? I charge at most twice a day. Phone does heat up ever so slightly when multitasking with aforementioned usage. I am a student, so bear in mind my needs may differ from yours, for instance, emailing is superfluous for me.

Can anybody definitively say whether .594 is an improvement on .353? I only ask because most people seem to have .190 as their pre-installed OS.

Those with the leaked OS 7.1, pleased? Improvements?

Default Os 7.1

I have installed the OS 7.1 but I just don't see no difference. The battery still gets hot when you put the phone on 3G and battery still drains quickly. I heard the OS 7.1 comes with a battery saving mode but I didn't find it on my one. Please someone help, I really like this phone.

I'm still not impressed with the 7.1. I don't see any difference but I will try to shrink it and what happens

Option - Device - (3rd one from the top) is Battery Saving Mode

Set the threshold level (Start when battery power is at or drops below...)
