Was waiting for the official 7.1, tbh.
Regardless, I'll install this. - 12-19-2011, 07:25 PM #9Thanked by:

I finally have it loaded. The start up took about 1:30 mins. I did shrink out some files. I will include an attached screenshot of what i shrank reducing the size to about 119mb rather than the original 230mb or so. I will preform a few more battery pulls and report back tomorrow after a typical day of usage on the battery and such. Phone will be charged to 100% when i go to bed and will have the battery pulled one more time right before i sleep and we'll see the idle time. Will be connected to BIS and 3G overnight with a 3 bar area. (full bars when i go to school)
Aswell i will be installing/upgrading my apps as you read this:

Very bad battery life imo.
7:00 am 100% - 4pm 20%
Apps are all manual refresh rates.
WIFI signal locks on better but Radio signal a bit worse.
All comparisons are compared to .474 WIND Official
Going back to .474 i guess, i would usually have 50% at least.
Hopefully official 7.1 will have superior battery life.
Note: I did preform 5 battery pulls the night before and im sure it's been settled enough. Worst battery usage ever after a fresh OS install.
Hope this is good on some other Curves, just not me =(Last edited by jeffrey1027; 12-21-2011 at 04:37 PM.

My Battery life is improved. Earlier it would be at 30-40 % balance ( 9 am full charge and auto power off at 11.48 pm till 5.30 am), when the device powers on at 5.30 am in the morning next day.
Now it stands at 40-50%.BB Users from India, check out www.bbindia.net - 12-22-2011, 06:31 AM #16
I think this update has good battery life. I was out for 11hours y.day, took 8-10 pictures (with flash) listened to some music, the radio signal was going haywire since the cinema I was in couldn't find 2G and hardly any 3G (which can be battery draining) and as usual, BBM'n people throughout. By 11pm last night, it was at 8%

better is cool
on 2g my 9360 lasted 24 hours with very light use and have 25% left.
on 3g my 9360 is only down to 80& after 12 hours almost no use.
Generally iwth heavy use I guess on 3g where i used to get 6-8 hours tops
i will get 9-12 hours now.
so a complete wipe bbhybrid tools, and installed and generally seems
25% improvement over last os... nice to see.
ps: im running 60-80% signal, no wifi, no bluetooth - 12-23-2011, 03:41 AM #18
Anybody running the full stock rom getting better batterry life? I'll be removing some useless apps (like gtalk), but I don't want to find out the improvements are only if you chop out half of the os...

Installed it last night, the install ran smoothly, off the charger this morning at 5:30am, a couple of BBM, 4-5 phone calls, 2 pictures with flash, on EDGE, 90%, not bad for 4 hours of use. Still no PIN messages, will keep updating as the day goes by.

My battery lasted for 6 hours with 16% left atm. I've stopped charging at 6pm and I wrote this post at 12mn-ish. I've done moderate-heavy surfing, FB, YM and reading emails. This is better than the .474 I've got which lasts 4 hours. Oh and I always use 3G.
