Depends on vendor ID, I got 2G option on Vendor 180, 9900

Since os .714 I've noticed when I make calls the signal is in GPRS/EDGE mode and then reverts back to 3G signal after I end a call. Anybody else seen this behaviour?

EDIT : i got it. But the strange thing is when I go to install it says I am downgrading my Blackberry 7.1 core applications

i cant select 2G. i only have 3G and then 3G and 2G. battery drain is high because my phone is on 3G the whole day, any ideas?

Hi there, I'm new to the updating scene, I have previously searched as to how to update the OS using different carrier's builds by deleting the vendor.xml files and using apploader however, what I can't seem to find out is whether I can update a european 9360 with an asian carriers OS such as the .2102 build listed above? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please help...I can't seem to update my OS...I installed destop manager, downloaded and installed the new OS...connected my phone to the computer...deleted the xml file..but my OS didn't upgrade..
