New Curve 9360 owner

I'll soon be a Curve 9360 owner rant/intro to me!

I've been lurking CB for a while now but I'm mostly a front-pager. One of my buddies that works at RIM set me up with a phone from their employee pricing program. I purchased 2 playbooks (one for me and 1 for my father) after the price drop and I've been loving it ever since.

I badly needed a phone as a stop gap until the BB10 phones come out. I'm hoping that they'll eventually design one with a physical keyboard rather than the touchscreen ones, but I digress. I'm upgrading from a HTC Dream (running Android 1.5) with a cracked screen cover and battery that sometimes allows me to make a phone call without crapping itself.

So far, seems like the first thing to do is upgrade to 7.1 and hopefully avoid all the battery life problems.

I'm very bullish on BB10, so hopefully it pans out. If I had any balls and any loose change, I'd invest heavily into the battered RIMM symbol but I have neither one of those. So I'll probably kick myself.

So hopefully I'll have a little bit to contribute to the forums and to this sub-forum soon. Wish me luck!
