Is there a way I can extract the new Blackberry Maps included in this OS and use it with my Bold 9900? My current version of maps doesn't work.

Thanks for the link. Maps still not working for me.

No icon for maps. You can open it in extended search but a message comes up saying 'unknown error' and the maps aren't viewable. It's just a white background where the maps should be.

Strange. The updated maps works on my 9930. Try reinstalling. If that doesn't work, uninstall then install.

Battery life seems much better with this update - 13 hours and still at 45%. 30 mins talk time / bluetooth / a few texts / RSS social feeds and linked to various web sites. Big improvement.

Yes, I agree! Mine has lasted more than a day with minimal use of apps and texting minus web browsing and phone calls.

is anyone else getting the same wi-fi problem with this update?

I keep getting "Failed to authenticate against the network" when i try to connect to my wifi network at home.

It only happened when i updated ...

i don't know if it's because of how i restored, but whenever I get a new text message, the "send to:" section pops up and it show up as a draft until i either reply or delete the draft from the main messages app

its easy to download ..just remove both the vendor files thats itt. u can advance search it on ur computer, and yes it improves the battery a lott .

I think this OS is crap....I am going back to my Bold until something better comes out. I have a lot of issues with signal Strenght and Wifi. a lot of SOS issues or where the signal shows ok but I am not recieving any calls. Battery pulls fix it temporarily but not long enough for me.

Am I doing something wrong? I dl installer install the desktop software I delete the vendor file and It wont let me update. On a Curve 9360 virgin mobile Canada unlocked etc.. Any help would be appreciated.

update:Anyway figured it out thought if was strange it wasn't working considering I've done it a few times previously. Battery life seems to be greatly improved. Oh and thanks for your help.

i have downloaded the update, installed it, wiped my bb and now i cant find any update with apploader.. i have deleted the vendor file.. any ideas?????
