    Take the battery out then put it back in ?

    An easier way is to do the following no battery pull required Press left side ALT key with right side del key and aA^ key at the same time.
    Will give you a restart

    Another way is to download the app called QuickPull. This does the same as a batt pull / hard reset without having to remove the cover and battery. Also does a basic defrag too, freeing up some space.
    (9000 > 9800 > 9360 > 9900 > Z10 + PlayBook)

    1. Take the batterry cover off.
    2. use corner of battery cover to pry out batterry.
    3. wait one moment, then reinsert batterry and cover.

    No need for installing third party programs.
    Blackberry 10 > Windows Phone 7/8 > Blackberry 7 > iOS > Android > Symbian > WebOS > Meego
