hi my blackberry curve 9360 was working fine all day yesterday until i had to charge it. when i plugged in the charger the yellow lightning bolt appeared but then it changed to a black plug and it refused to charge. i've had the phone for a little over 2 months now and i've never had any problems with it. now i tried removing the battery and still no luck i tried plugging it into the computer and a red light comes on fo about 35 seconds then disappears and the phone is non responsive. any help would be appreciated. thank you
Best bet is to carry two spare batteries with you at a ll times since Seido never made an extended battery for the 9300 series. In which I don't understand why..quite ******* dumb if you asked me.
What kind of Battery Booster? I had a problem, I downloaded some kind of battery booster but still my batter last for almost 4hours to 5? What am I gonna do? It's kinda freaking me out coz I really don't know what's the problem.
Please has anyone tried installing this new 7.1.0 1047 OS RIM released recently on your 9360? And how is the battery life going for you? Mine sucks and it drains my battery like running water.
I wanna know if I'm the only one facing this problem...
sir where can i download the os 7.1.0.258 of curve 9360? can you send me a link?

I am going to assume you have a battery life problem on your 9360. My suggestion would be to load the latest OS for your device instead of an older version and see if the improvements in the OS help. I don't know what steps you have taken to reduce the battery usage so considering looking at Device Analyzer. Double check the links I post.
Yes the battery life is absolute shameful. I did get a spare battery although it is possible to survive an entire day without a batt switch. I had to refrain from using Facebook twitter and only use whatsapp text and emails or to call people. The short battery life got me into trouble a couple of times at work as well.
The battery is definitely terrible, but on the upside it charges super quickly.
From my time with the 9360:
- Turn off everything that can push in the background : sports apps, FB, etc.
- get one if those external 2200 mah batteries that you can use to charge your phone.
- if course depending on your phone's age the battery may need to be replaced altogether .
- get a car charger. Plug the phone in every chance you get.
The 9320 that someone suggested is a decent phone, but the screen and camera are worse. Personally I loved my 9360 but it is hard to go back after using a Z10.
i recently purchased BB 9360 non camera phone. from ebay. it is unlocked from outside somewhere. need a few tips as u seem to be having some knowledge of BB
