    Default Blackberry Protect

    I was wondering I have a friend who has a BB9360 and got it unlocked but when putting in the new SIM card the phone prompts you to sign in with blackberry protect. Now we dont know that password and that email that is attached to her blackberry protect does not work anymore. I was wondering is there any way to bypass that blackberry protect screen that pops up.

    You may be able to get it unlocked if you provide proof of ownership etc to RIM

    You can try a password reset via BlackBerry's ID portal and BlackBerry's Protect Portal... http://protect.blackberry.com/

    Have you tried to wipe the device and reload OS?

    we would prefer to keep the phone as is meaning we don't want to wipe it. We want to take the phone overseas
