    Hey!

I have a question. My friend gave me a 100% working and brand-new Blackberry 9350 who has been given to him for test purposes by RIM ( It is sample cell phone, prototype or something like that ). Here is a question, because it is a CDMA phone, who has no carrier at all. Can it be used for Sprint service? or that kind of cell phones are blocked at all?.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

The ESN has to be registered with a CDMA carrier (Sprint, Verizon). You could maybe try and get a smaller CDMA carrier to register the ESN but its a long shot.

If you take it to Sprint, they should be able to unlock it and get you going no problem. But again, the smaller carrier is probably a better idea
