Big Memory Issue..
Hey guys. I was just wondering if anybody has any tips for me on how to keep my system memory down. For some reason when I check my device status, my memory reads like this:
396 MB System Memory used
40.4 MB Application
74.2 MB Free
Why is my system memory so high? I feel as if its slowing down my phone. Everytime I click the browser icon, it's on a 1-2 second delay before it comes up. I only have 4 apps running, minus the home screen, so what's going on?? - 08-01-2012, 04:21 PM

By the way my OS is:
7.1.0.402 Bundle 1333

clearly you have no idea what extra apps yo have downloaded even though you are not running them, uninstall all the unnecessary apps and re install the ones which you will actually use and then have a loook at your memory i am sure you will see an improvement.

I have a little bit of an idea, however, I didn't know that even if you have the apps installed, and they're not running, they're still taking up memory. I'm gonna uninstall and reinstall, and see what I can come up with.

I deleted a bunch of apps, and gained well over 100MB of system memory.
My stupidity was showing, but with your help, I was able to hide it again. Lol
Thanks!
