BB browser "unexpectedly closes" A LOT
Sry, I did look around and found no other thread dealing with this issue. Sry if it has been covered, just point me in that direction pls!! Lol
Using the BB browser on my new 9370 is really annoying! Whenever trying to visit sites I'll be browsing and suddenly a msg saying "browser has closed unexpectedly. Reload previous pages?". And this happens EVERY time I use it! Some sites are worse than others, but it does it every time. I'll be in the middle of trying to read something, then it closes and I have to wait for it to reload if I choose that option.
This is my 1st BB with OS 7, and I was excited when I bought it. I was looking forward to the "new things" I could do after my Storm 1 and 2 with both running an OS 5 version for yrs! I've always used a 3rd party browser because we all know the BB browser was never "great", but Bolt dc'd their app and I started using Opera Mini again. Its not exactly compatible with OS 7.
I love my BB, but this is killing me!!! Anyone else experienced this? Found ways to provide a resolution to the problem!?
Help pls!!! Thxs in advance!!! {O= - 08-07-2012, 05:36 AM #2
Try upgrading you OS version to the latest, if you are on stock OS.

You would have to do it manually, since your service provider would not be having the latest update available.
The links posted have detailed info on how to update manually. All data is backed up and the process is pretty straightforward , if you follow it as it is.BB Users from India, check out www.bbindia.net - 08-08-2012, 04:29 AM

Just chiming in here. This is a problem on some websites for me too. I'm using the 9370, and it seems as if the bigger the website that's trying to load, the more likely the browser is to close on its own. Anybody know why this happens?
