BB 9360 KEYBOARD. Help!
Hi! I'm about to buy BB 9360, but I want to know if the keyboard is comfortable. I've heard keys are too hard, this is always true? Does the country where it was built have something to do? The one I wanna buy is from Mexico.
I'm changing my celphone just for the keyboard, I have a touch one and I don't like it at all, so I want a really comfortable keyboard. (I've tested the bold 9780 and I didn't like it, I think keys are quite close)
well, i wanna hear your experiences! thanks.

well my 9360 is from the UK and its very comfortable to type on im not sure about blackberry's sold in other countries but surely they would all be made the same, the keys themselves are hard as they are made from plastic not rubber but they are not hard to push down and type with. i use my blackberry a lot so im always texting, mailing and bbming all day for hours and my thumbs never get sore or hurt from using the keyboard as they press in without any effort. (i am a girl with delicate thumbs too so if it was too hard i would know about it)

my sister has this phone and the keyboard is HORRIBLE. I don't know whether it's just me, as I have the 9900- but the 9360 has a horrible hard to type on keyboard in my opinion. But for features, the 9360 is a brilliant little phone.
This is just my opinion.

The keys may be hard at first but it softens up some with use. My keys are softer to push than when I first got it but they still have the signature Curve click.
It's quite comfortable to type on.

Thanks! i'll try it on tuesday.
What about battery life? Does it last a whole day?
I don't know wheter to buy bb 9360 or 9780! - 05-06-2012, 11:43 PM #7
my battery lasts 1/2 to 2 days medium-heavy use but i had to upgrade to os7.1.336 and its running with battery saving mode always on
Honestly on looks alone id get the curve 9360, the bold to me (no offence to anyone with a 9780) is kinda ugly looking as the housing looks very broken up with all the lines separating each part especially when you see it in white. how about getting the 9790? it runs os7 and is touchscreen, looks similar to the 9780 and is thinner like the curve - 05-06-2012, 11:59 PM

I love 9790! I wish I could buy it, but here in Argentina we have a problem with imports, so it's really difficult to get a blackberry, and they're so expensive. 9790 is about u$s880.
I can get 9360 or 9780 for u$s620
@TheRealFixxxer I see you had both phones, which one do you recommend? The price is not important, both cost the same in my country.
Sorry for my english again! jajaja it sucksss. I hope you understand what I'm saying xDLast edited by Caro.; 05-07-2012 at 04:42 AM.

I just upgraded from a Bold 9700 to the Curve 9360 and I love the Curve's keyboard!
I was a bit dismayed in the shop as the buttons on the display model were quite stiff and had the BB7 Bold been smaller it would have pushed me to buy one of them. However when I un-boxed my new 9360 it's buttons weren't at all as stiff as the display model's (just the right amount of pressing needed) and I much prefer the pip buttons of the Curve to my Bold's square, accent bar separated buttons. (I have small hands and fingers)
So I wouldn't go 100% on the display model, if it's the phone you like best the shop may have a trial period? The place I got mine have a 14 day no-quibble return policy if you don't like the phone. - 05-07-2012, 12:51 PM #11
If NFC is widely used in Argentina, I would say the 9360 hands down. If not, I would go for the 9780.
They both have the same amount of RAM; however, the 9360 does have a little bit of a faster CPU and double the application storage. Even so, I still prefer the feel and functionality of the 9780. I doubt you'll really need 512MB of application storage, but that is all dependent on the user. For everything else, they're nearly identical (all OS6 and OS7 differences aside).
Comparing OS6 to OS7, they're not too different. However, some small things have been improved in OS7, but nothing to sway my opinion one way or the other regarding the two devices.
You can use this to compare the two devices;
BlackBerry Bold 9780 vs. BlackBerry Curve 9360 - GSMArena.com
EDIT---
Forgot to mention the camera. Both devices have the same camera, but the 9780 wins due to it having auto-focus. If you find yourself taking a lot of photos with your phone, the 9780 wins in that department. The 9360 does have image stabilization, but I find that it doesn't seem to work as well.
Maybe I just drink too much coffee.

Your English is great
I cant believe those US prices though they are way too much... the Canadian Dollar is stronger than the US green back.. i can get a brand new 9360 for less than $200.. Canadian and a brand new bold 9790 for less than $300.00 Canadian..
Do you have any friends in Canada?
They could get you a real deal here.

You should update to OS 7.1, better battery life and a lot of other improvements!
Primero que nada deberias actualizar al sistema operativa 7.1 , aca en el foro hay hartas guias, mejora la duración de bateria, radio fm y hartas mejoras más!
