battery drain

Hi everyone,

whats everyones battery life like on the 7.1.0.336? im having trouble, i get 20percent battery drain an hour and i dont even have any apps open, at best i get 10 percent an hour! why is this? strange, anyway i think i will downgrade to 7.0 because it seems to be better for me with battery life..
what do you think?

Hi!
Do not downgrade. 10-20% is strange if you do not use the phone. If you spent an hour in internet using 3G it seems to be pretty normal. It is possible that your phone has some technical problems.

Seems simple but make sure you don't have any web pages open in the background that you don't know about. Also, turn your screen brightness down as low as it will go. Turn off bluetooth and wi-fi when not in use. Should see an improvement in your battery now. If not, could be a dodgy battery...

for me... it took 3 days to back to normal drain rate after OS install/upgrade... standby only spent 2%/hour

I am still in the original 6.0 software for my 9810 and noticed the battery drain just started about 4 weeks ago, with no new or changes to the apps. At same time a clock appeared and started turning at times. Chatting with other BB users they see the same thing on Rogers, Bell or Telus.

I am updating no to 7.1 hoping to see change.
