I've had ram mounts before and they are really solid devices.
Wondering what anyone's experiences have been with this one?

RAM Universal X-Grip Mounts for the iPhone 4S

Also, thinking about this base:

RAM 3" DIAMETER SUCTION CUP W SNAP LINK BALL

This one to avoid having to use a disc on the dash... only thing - and it's not clear at Ram's website.. how does it actually attach to the dash? without a disc?
