9360: Keypad backlight or no?
I've gotten conflicting information on whether there is backlighting on the keypad for the Curve 9360. I think it does not have backlighting but can someone please confirm?
If not, it's one of those things that makes me wonder how the design and product managers decide which features to include or exclude from a device in exchange for others.
Thanks. - 06-20-2012, 09:34 AM

Ok thanks. 3 stores told me no. And the RIM website does not mention it in the specs either even though it is specifically called out for the Bolds 9790 etc.
Could it be possible that your (O2) version of the phone has backlighting but the North American version does not?
Thanks.Last edited by andy957; 06-20-2012 at 04:32 PM.

Am trying out a Rogers 9360 in white.
Keyboard does light up (backlit) however, the BB menu key, the T, Y, G and H keys are dimmer than the rest, in fact, the menu key is almost not visible in the dark. And the trackpad is a) very wobbly and b) much brighter lit around the edges than the rest.
Did I get a bum unit?
