Phone sent from London being used in America
So my first curve no longer works and so my mum sent me an unlocked 9320 curve (bought from virgin media) from London and I love it (I'm currently in the states). However, it won't connect to wifi! Well actually, it says it's connected (the wifi is fine as it works on my laptop and my previous phone) but it when I try to use the browser it says "unable to connect to the internet...". I'm on v7.1.0.398 so I'm unable to go to browser settings and change it to 'Hotspot Browser' like my previous blackberry (8520). If I was to get the original virgin simcard that came with it, will that activate the wifi to work with any other simcard?

You need a BlackBerry Data Plan to use data features including connecting to WiFi.
Note that you cannot get a BlackBerry Data Plan on AT&T prepaid currently.
