Good evening

I'm trying to attach a pdf file to an email.

I followed the instructions i.e composed an email then tried to attach. The options though, are only for picture, contact or a certificate - no way to navigate to my saved files.

Is there a way I can attach a file, in this case a pdf which is stored on my Blackberry in documents?

Any ideas?

have you tried going to the PDF file, hover over the file, hit the berries, got to the send, then select email... you can then add your text to the body of the email...
