Default Is BB 9320 3.2mp camera good enough for holiday snaps?

Bit of a subjective question but I have 8520 and the picture qual is bit disappointing because i otherwise i luv my phone and use it squillion times per day and have done for the last 3 years

I was thinking about a new BB and Vm have a good offer on the 9320 and I would be happy if it was just as good as my 8520 but better picture - good enough for holiday snaps shots

yep, same here. My 8900 camera was 100x better than my current 9900. I sometimes still use my 8900 just for the camera.

If the pictures will be viewed on computer or tablet screens rather than printed, and you don't need a lot of zoom shots, 3.2 MP is more than adequate.

3.2 is good enough plus they're much easier to share, they only save in 500kb format, 9900 saves them in 1.6mb and I've seen iphone 4s photos at 2.1mb

The 3.2mp camera should work well and when I had a 9650 it took pretty decent quick pics.

Its good enough if you wanted to upload to social sites such as facebook/twitter. For quick snapshot, it'll do just fine

Like everyone else has said, a 3.2MP is adequate if you won't be printing them. One thing I would've liked is for it to be auto-focus, just like how it was on the 8900.

I have just replaced an android phone with a 5mp camera on it for the curve 9320 and the camera is just as good if not better than the one i had.
Took some really nice shots of the grandson at the park today and i am happy with the results.

    Lightbulb Curve 9320 3.2M vs 3g 9300 2M cameras compared

Hey I will also post this in another thread, but to give you an idea of the camera quality,

I compared against my good old Curve 3g [9300] - personally I lamented its camera but just put up with it- but it was pretty crappy. White balance, exposure & range is just much better. Detail is nicer even being EDOF. *there is no post processing*

Yes, I also had a 8900 and I agree about the camera! I upgraded from a 8900 to a 9300 and then went back to my 8900 just for the camera and resolution. I now have a Bold 9900 but not happy with camera quality.

I got my nephew a 9320 and I must say the camera is pretty decent! If you're coming from a 8520 you will love it. The flash, picture settings and resolution make it a big improvement. Plus, the battery life is very good, unlike some of the other OS7 devices.
