define heavy use. I play music on my phone for around 8 hours (2 of those hours are using the speakerphone) and my battery lasts up untill 9:00pm
Sometimes I like rolling up into a ball and pretending that I have a potato shell with a tomato core - 06-26-2012, 08:02 PM #7
My battery drain percentage is around 6% which is quite high and still I get around a day max. My battery life:
7:00am-6:00pm on 3G
7:00am-?? on EDGE
Mostly just BBM, whatsapp, an hour browsing. Running background apps including viber, crackberry app, accuweather, battery booster.

4 days sounds insane. My 9320 has barely been lasting me a day.
However I noticed if I reboot it, the battery level drops a significant amount, and then it'll work at 1% for the longest time. I think there might be something wrong with the OS or else there's an app I'm running that's causing some kind of a conflict. I use Meterberry to track my batt level, and when it drops 15% from a reboot, it doesn't seem to make much sense :-S - 08-15-2012, 02:05 PM #14
I have the 9320 in white, and it lasts 10 hours max.. I find this so irritating after leaving the 9900 and 9790 for poor battery! I don't understand how the battery is so bad with it's high capacity 1450mAh battery though. I'm truly miffed with this! I've deleted social feeds and that helped a little bit.. Any solutions for the bad battery life?

If there are any e-mails that you don't need to see, you can filter them out. I for example was getting flooded by group deal e-mails which I've since filtered out, after realizing how few of them actually pertained to me. Now my battery lasts way longer, and I'm disturbed that much less, so it's a win-win for me

Im getting around 2 or 3 days with average use of about 10 emails a day and about 30 text messages on average and maybe 2 or 3 phone calls. My LG Optimus One I had before would last under a day so I am Very happy with it. It is also occasionally connected through Bridge to my playbook.

Not me. Mine barely lasts a day with the use I get out of it.
Loves my Blackberry and cannot think how I lived before it.

I'd say that this is considered pretty low usage in general, so it makes sense that yours lasts so long

I'm in the same boat with you on that one. My 9700 typically lasted me longer, but I'm still quite happy in general with the 9320
If it's just normal usage, I don't think mine gets very hot just with normal usage. It does however get quite hot when charging it.
I use a few apps to monitor its performance in terms of battery life, battery temperature, RAM, etc. I really like the Internals app, as it shows you all the stats on a graph. As for in numbers, MeterBerry does an amazing job for that. It even calculates how many hours of battery life you have left, based on the discharge rate it's been going at, which it also shows you

I love my 9320. It's hot only when I was restoring BBM contacts. I don't have the 4 day last rather than a day.
Love the smooth OS comes with pre-installed full Docs To Go.
Love the ability to install a lot of applications.
Love the hi-resolution camera.
And I'm loving my new application mTag Pro.
One question, is there any ftp client software for Blackberry? I want my device be able to browse files on my website like Android does.

Keep in mind that my phone has been having pretty light usage. A couple phone calls, e-mail push on and about a dozen sent, facebook notifications on, a couple texts. I've only charged it two times yet. The first time lasted 54 hours to 9% (3G). The second time, after 72 hours it was at 20% (edge). Overall I'm pleased, coming from android (which lasts 16 hours with data on).

My 9220's battery is almost a year old now and it still lasts me almost a full day of heavy usage. And when I talk about heavy usage, probably half an hour of phone calls, 60-70 texts, 2 hours of constant BBm'ing, Facebook for 15 minutes, 15 minutes of WhatsApp, an hour of music playback (With earphones on) and about half an hour of web browsing. So I'm pretty satisfied.

4 Days? wow! that's amazing.....

Mine is about 1 full day with heavy use, I fully charged it around 5 in the morning. Then,I do alot of things in the day (Mostly BBM,Whatsapp,Music,Browsing) And it stays on until around 10pm,it even still have about 5% of battery left.
Loving my curve
