But where do you save themes on the blackberry to use them as themes in your bb?

First of all welcome to crackberry! Don't be sorry to be a noob. We all have to start somewhere. Themes are saved to the devices memory. Here is a link to give you some background on themes.

Sounds like an OTA theme. You need to install that from your browser.
