hey everyone,

every time i download a theme, via ota download links it doesn't work..
i go to themes via the 'options menu' and it doesn't appear in the list..

but when i go to application i can see the theme title =[
i dont know whats wrong with my blackberry cries*

im runnin on v4.6.1.66
and it definitely is a 8900 curve

anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure you're downloading themes for the 8900 rather than 83** series themes?

yessir definitely 8900 themes only

Have you tried a battery pull after downloading them? Sometimes themes/apps won't be usable until you reboot your BB.

I just created my first theme. I just added it to the 8900 themes page (Zulu Hidden Dock), but i do not have an OTA link working yet but PM me and i can send it to you via e-mail.

Couple things.
- Check Options, Themes to see if the themes are really there.
- Try downloading a zip file to your PC and the unzip it and use Desktop Manager to install the theme.
- Your OS at .66 is rather out of date. You may wish to update this before proceeding. If you are wary of doing this then help will be here for you.

On your blackberry, go to m.crackberry.com (no http) to get to the mobile site. It will load a lot faster then the full version. navigate to the 8900 Theme forums and then just click on the OTA link to download. Quick and easy!

i had a problem with OTA DL'd themes not showing up so i did some research....

This worked for me, (got the information from GemBlock.com)

1)go to your options
2)go to your adv. options
3)go to your app's
4)go to the theme that isn't showing up
5)edit permission to "allow" on all three options.
5a] hit the menu button, while the theme is highlighted
and you should see a "edit premissions"
5b]change from "deny" to "allow"
6]exit to main screen
7) then hold the "CAPs & ALT & DEL" buttons all at the same time, the phone will reboot. ( I use the left side "alt" key, the right bottom "caps" key and the only del key...)

when you go back to your themes it should show up.....
