I have about 5 themes but I am afriad to download too many because I dont want it to mess with my memory. HAving that many themes doesn't slow down your phone??

i used to have 8, but now i'm down to 3 (which includes the 2 stock themes). i just felt like all those themes made my phone slow down a little.

i have been switching between 4 or 5 different themes and only notice a small decrease in speed with the old os , but since i installed 4.6.1.199 its much faster.

Well no mine is not any slower with all these on here. Now there are some themes that naturally slow a phone down I delete these fast. Get this all my themes are free except the two stock ones also I am running .144. Plus they don't take up much space compaired to most games (of which I only have the stock ones). Memory is a give take

Check out this BlackBerry 101 Lecture. It explains the whole deal http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101...ckberry-themes. You might wish to go to BlackBerry Helo and work through the whole series. It was written to help folk like you get over the difficulties on a new BlackBery ownder.

I am constantly testing out new themes, but delete the ones I don't like. So far, I found 3 that LOVE and keep using over and over....I'm picky lol

Keep it simple stupid! I have the two stock themes, I just change the wallpaper a lot.

did u try deleting them through the applications list?

go to options>advanced options>applications.

Best way is through the Desktop Manager IMO

I'm with Skullgame45. I do the exact same thing. I do however have one other theme besides the two stocks. I can't even remember which one though as I use the Precision stock 99% of the time. And for those of you who said you have 8-30 themes... Seriously, WTF? That's a little obssesive, dontcha think?

I had 20 at one point when I was testing out the themes I was making. You should have seen how freakin slow my storm was.

I change my wallpaper CONSTANTLY, but only change the ringtone and tones for SMS/MMS if something comes along that is better then what already have. I'm not the type of person that likes ghetto ringtones like most of the phones I hear ringing when I'm out. I also don't care much for any ringtone that is part of a song.

I have 4 I downloaded, can't recall how many stock themes the 8900 comes with. They are on there as well. I have a 16gb card, so speed hasn't been a problem
