Why not release 8900 to Verizon?
Why not? I mean the Verizon has the Curve 8300, why not upgrade to the 8900? I want to get a Blackberry but don't want to wait for the niagara in july/august. Do i just get the Curve 8300? Are there any plans on getting the Bold or the Curve 8900 to Verizon?
Thanks guys. - 05-08-2009, 01:23 PM #2
I don't think the 8900 as it is will be compatible with Verizon.

Verizon is CDMA and the 8900 is a GSM device.

OP, you're not making any sense. You're saying you don't want to wait for the Tour, which is one of the next BBs known to be coming to Verizon, yet you want to know if the Bold or the 8900 are coming to Verizon?
IF, and this is a big IF, either of these devices was coming to Verizon, you're not going to see them until 2010 at the VERY earliest -- so that doesn't jive with not wanting to wait until July/August/Sept for the Tour...

Your getting the BlackBerry tour. A 8900 look alike in terms of size, but has the Bold's keyboard. No WiFi though.
(CDMA manufacturers sure has issues making phones with wifi) - 05-08-2009, 03:37 PM #8
