Or may be I just want some privacy myself.

When I am traveling by bus(or anything) and I find something interesting, I click it, and all the people around me gives me the look "wow, look at this spoiled kid, he does nothing but shooting random pic, young generation is worth nothing" (And I am thinking, shut up grandma, I am a software engg, and why the hack do you care about what I do)

And this is not just one case, whenever people hear the shutter sound at quiet place, they raise their eyebrow, like I am doing something wrong. (Which I am not)

So the point is, all the people who wants some privacy are not perverts. Hope you got it.

If you are dong nothing wrong then what so you care what the lil' old lady in the next row thinks? If they start starring at you, just start muttering to yourself and out of the corner of your eye look at them and under your breath say..your next. and aim the phone at them..lol.
Really..come on...you say privacy, I call it peeping.

Thumbs up Why???

And why would it matter if you were spoiled? Who cares what you do with your phone cause ummm...its ur phone! Next time look at them whisper, wink and say'"oh yea baby.....make love to the camera". Now that is offensive and would give them something to talk about!

@#!$ em if they cant take a joke! Besides staring is rude too! Point that out

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your experiences. Let me try to clear up a few.

#2 - I have a similar issue; turn the hor. sensitivity up to 90 or replace the trackball. Also don't use it with dirty figers eg after you've eaten

#3 - This is a legal requirement in some countries and there was a bill in the US for this to become law also (i'm not sure if it passed). Because RIM don't make different versions of phones for different regions, they implement it as mandatory.

#4 - Never had this problem, mine even works when it's switched off (as its supposed to). Trying updating the software like you would any new phone you buy.

#5 Set a password and set the security timeout to whatever you want.

One thing i'm curious about though is that you have moved from a feature phone to a smartphone with push email functionality. Are you using the smartphone functionality?
Surely other features drove your purchasing decision as i'm sure you can't get RSS feeds, push email, browsing experience (albeit not as good as other smartphone browsers), messaging functionality with your previous phone..
