This is the first time I have ever seen this 'W' indicator. Anyone have a clue what it stands for?

Thanks for the quick reply ClintRo, but the only problem I see with that is the number listed was not a work number, it was a home number. I rechecked my contacts and sure enough this is listed as the home number. For reference, it was my mother calling and it was from her home phone. She calls often and this was the first time I have ever seen this symbol.

The messages screen. I don't have my settings set to show missed calls or anything else in the messages screen either. But this is the SMS/MMS text message screen.

This is my call screen and it clearly shows mom and the home number.

I tried the ### ### ####@tmomail.net and that is not it.....and the tmobile website is not it either.

I asked her and she said just as she normally does, when prompted to leave a voicemail she does and then hangs up. I'm stumped.

I just tried something and it worked. I called from my home phone and when prompted to make a choice, I chose to 'page this person'. Sure enough, when the page was sent, I got the same message indicator. Just wonder why it's a 'W', and not a 'P'!

She called and pressed 5 it will sent you that message.....

I just replicated it on my phone.

next question: I did this same test and when I click on the message with the 'w' symbol I get this message:
"the phone number used to access extensions within your corporation has not been set. If you know the number, please enter it now. Phone Number:"

what it the heck is this? I have no corporation, just me and I'm not BES.

I got the W icon in my SMS inbox the other day. Whenever I try to open it I am prompted to enter a phone number for my corporation.. Weird.
