Its a known bug. You're using a beta os. Nothing is perfect.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | OMG LETS BLAME EVERYTHING ON A BETA OS. get a life. it could easily be a bug within the program itself.
OP, try re-downloading BBM and see if it corrects the issue. im using .348 and have never had that issue before.
lazerus, can you offer anything else as a solution besides telling people that the beta OS is an issue. he could easily have had this problem with a 4.6 OS. get a life and learn to truely assess the problem and come up with a valid solution, besides just simply stating the OS caused it. its getting really old how every thread you respond to the only thing your little pea brain can come up with is "the beta OS did it".

OP, dictoresno's idea about uninstalling and reinstalling BBM worked for me.
My Process was uninstall > Battery Pull > Download & Install > Battery Pull > Test.
As I say, that worked and I am on the new leak of OS 5.0 with BBM 5.0
On an unrelated note, I'm not a fan of lazerus's usual brand of sarcasum.
I love sarcasum, but on an internet forum I just think it's too easy for it to be taken the wrong way and someone end up being offended.
That being said, I think you may have been a tad harsh dictoresno.
Your advice was spot on and proved lazerus wrong, you didn't need to tell her to get a life or call her a pea brain did you?

what if people posted up problems everyday and all i told them was "well go figure, your on verizon....thats your issue". people would be telling me WTF that makes no sense. well thats exactly what lazerus is doing.

Ya'll really need to stop taking the silly internet so serious. Lighten up. Dictor, you are really a foul disengenuous little **** for trumpeting and encouraging people with no experience to load beta os's. But you already knew that.

Dictor - you are so wrong, just read your latest anti me post. Get a life dude. Crackberry is not a life.
I'm not the only one that has ever blamed little issues that pop up with 348 on the os itself. Its obvious you do not have a technical background but only a hobbyist mentality when it comes to approaching solving problems with a computer. Get off yer high horse, you have no clue what you're talking about.
I don't think my post was all that nasty and did warrant your little tirade.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | loading a beta OS is no different than loading a regular official OS. and following simple on screen OS loading instructions in DM or following directions in the OS loading tutorial, doesnt take a PhD to do.
you just like using OS 5 as a scapegoat to make yourself sound smarter as if you are actually solving the issue. in fact, it has no relevance to the problem. there are hundreds of people on this forum alone, experienced users and n00bs that have successfully loaded and continue to use 5.0 without any issues.
i went off on you cuz your ONLY reply to any problem lately is "oh your on a beta OS, thats the problem". which is an incorrect solution 99% of the time. stop telling people it is, when its obviously something else.

I don't think my post was all that nasty and did warrant your little tirade. Eat me. | youre right. beta OS's are the root of all evil and are causing all these issues people are having. its just funny how you blame the OS but offer no other possible solution. wouldnt you recommend for someone to simply reinstall BBM before reloading a whole OS? your troubleshooting skills stink. its like a mechanic replacing a whole engine because the PCV valve is stuck. why not try small and work your way up to OS reinstalls.
