Unlocked 8900 but can't connect to BIS
Hi pplz, so its my first blackberry and its unlocked so i called my service provider and asked to to connect my BIS, which they did, however they tell me by phone is data locked which is why my edge is in lower case and I cannot access the internet, however I can make and receive calls, sms, etc. Can someone please help me Im frustrated!! I've turned my phone on and off like 1000 times and did the Host Routing thing and service book thing, i've done everything possible, how can I unlock this phone without contacting the original service provider ?!!

It sounds like you bought a phone that was reported lost or stolen, and the PIN is blacklisted. If that is the case, you will not be able to get BIS.
