Uncaught exception: java.lang.Error Error

Hi Guys,

Whenever I click on the Messages icon on my 8900 I get the following errors:

Uncaught exception: java.lang.Error
Uncaught excepttion: java.lang.NullPointerException
Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0x79a478373b7e8b4e0)timeout

I also get these errors after rebooting my phone. I have tried a wipe and also a factory reset and still cannot get into the Messages icon, any ideas?

On your wipe you told it to wipe apps too?

Have you reinstalled the OS?

Yes told it to wipe apps also. No haven't tried an OS re installation yet..

Have now tried a re installation of the O.S. with the same results :-(

It helped me to reinstall appworld/install the newest version of appworld.
I don't know if it's the real problem, but it worked for me.

I had the same problem after I downloaded the new app world to my phone!UGH
I removed the app through the blackberry desktop software under applications.
It rebooted and now its back to normal, YAY!
