    Default Tryng to put music from computer on blackberry 8900

    So i thought this would be easy plug usb in, downloaded blackberry desktop software clicked music, for it to say i dont have a media card?

    The phone is second hand and came with a 1gb memory card is this a media card? very new to blackberry phones.

    Anyways no media card is detected on my phone at all tryed taking it out put it back in, batery pull but its not registering there's anything in the memory card slot... hummmm.

    Im confused, is it broke? or have i missed something out i was suppose to do before i can get music on this phone.... Thanks to all who reply. Roxy

    Does the card read in any other reader? Quick and easy would be to format the card, using Options: Memory. It also might be defective.
    For just a few bucks you could get a new 2GB or 4GB card and throw it in.

    Options -> Memory

    Turn on media card support. Turn on mass storage mode support, and auto-enable mass storage mode.
