The 8900 was a good device. I remember loving the camera a lot. It wasn't super bulky that I remember. I've never been one to pay attention to memory leaks, and I never used the 9300 to compare, sorry.@_Miche11e_

I've had both of these phones and I love them almost equally. The 8900 had a more luxurious look compared to the 9300. I liked the screen resolution on this device, and I learned to appreciate it more after being disappointed by the measly resolution of the 9300.
Well if you're looking for a trackball, OS5, chicklet keyboard and not as much bulk as the 9000, then the 8900 is great! It's sleeker than the 9300 and the keyboard is a near equal to the 9300.
However it is an older device and it is bound to be slower than the 9300 because it uses a 512 mhz processor rather than a 624 mhz processor that the 9300 has. 9300 can support OS 5 if you don't mind using a trackpad. Getting this phone would be a bit of a challenge too because you'll have to search for a 2nd hand model.
Bottom line, nicer to look at compared to the 9300. Equally good to type on. Slower, but doesn't show it. No memory leakage when I used it. Better camera and better screen.BlackBerry is my phone of choice. No other phone gives me the same experience that BlackBerry does .
