    Default technical question curve 8900

    Hi .
Sometime ago i made the foolish mistake of changing my bold 9700 for an android device and have regreated it ever since. My question is ,I have the chance of buying a curve 8900 for a god price but have been told that the phone has a fault which is , it will not make calls or text in the uk but is ok in sweden. everything else works ok. does this sound right ? and if so is there an easy fix ?
    many thanks

It might be because the device is Swedish or European and does not work on the same frequencies that're used in the UK. But depending on your carrier I'm sure the frequencies change, so maybe your carrier might use the same frequency as the phone.

But it does sound like a bit of a hassle.
