    Default T-Mobile 8900 shipped with os 4.6.1.231

A friend of mine just got his 8900 with T-Mobile. He was having issues and had to exchange within the 14 days in order to get a brand new device. His new device shipped with os 4.6.1.231, this is probably a sign that T-mobile will make this version official as well.

4.6.1.114 is still the official download from T-Mobile's website.

I'd love to see that. As stated earlier .114 is still on the web site.

    Unlikely.

I just hit the wireless upgrade feature on my 8900 and it said no upgrades are available.

I have had an 8900 since Jan and svc through T-mo. I don't know if the "wireless upgrade" even works lol. I know the .114 has been the official version for t-mo and has not changed since the phones were released on t-mo. Every time I have ever gone to the "wireless upgrade" I get the "no upgrades avail" message as well. Personally I would rather use crackberry for anything I ever need on my berry. Last night I also had a friend tell me that a t-mo rep told him to go to crackberry.com for help with his berry lmao. This forum is the s#&%!!

I have a replacement coming on Tuesday and I check the OS - it'll probably be a refurb with their latest. I did just get .114 from their website to downgrade my current to what it came with. .114 was the only OS available for the Jav at their website.
