Default SMS Icon on Home Screen

Currently, I am running OS v.5.0.0.314 on my 8900.

I am using the "stock" theme. On my home screen, I see the following icons-- e-mail, contacts, calendar, browser, media and phone.

I would like to replace one of those icons with the "SMS" icon. How would I do this?

    Thanks!

Press the menu button, and it will pull up all your icons. Hover over the SMS icon (if there isnt one, go to messages, then menu then options and go to SMS/Email and select the separate option) and then press the menu button, and move, then scroll to the top with it and place it as one of the first 6 icons, and it will then appear on your homescreen.

Sounds like another person that would benefit from some Blackberry 101 lessons... There is a link under "Blackberry Help" at the top of every forum page.
