    Default sealed LCD?

Does the 8900 have a sealed LCD so that dust does not get under it like the Bold?

I think all BB's are capable of getting dust under the screen. Most of the time its from people sticking them in their pockets.

I keep my BB 8800 my pocket with no case. I have had lots of trackball issues getting jammed up with pocket lint, but have never had any dust under the screen problems.

I think that it does have the same sealed screen design as the Bold. This will make a big difference. .

With older blackberries it was difficult to keep dust out no matter how one carried it as the design itself practically invited dust inside.

I don't think so on the Bold, I work in a dusty environment and there is 0 dust under my screen on my Bold

does the screen have like an extra coat over it like the old curve's. I absolutely hate how the bolds screen is unprotected and that the slightest touch on it or near it makes the screen wave. i like the plastic over the curve where i can press as hard as i want and not worry about damaging the screen.
