Default Screen is too dark....

Hi Everyone.
I don't know if someone has ever posted here regarding screen problem. My problem is that the screen went dark all of sudden, while i was typing message. It just turned off, i could not see anything.I tried to pull out the battery for 5 minutes, checked the brightness,it was on 100. In comlplete darkness screen has a backlight probably 2%, i can barely see anything.
I don't know what to think.I think it might be the problem, because it was replacemnt unit, more likely it was refurbished.

Any thoughts?????

Sounds like you might have a defective device. I would suggest a return if you're within your grace period still.
